God made the stars in a single clause of Genesis 1, and from that fact the whole canon builds: stars as covenant seed, as rulers, as the angelic host, as judgment, as forbidden worship. The fallen king of Babylon claimed the title and fell. Christ closes the arc: I am the bright morning star.
